  1. I think it is amazing that you can only see a comet once every 72,000 well a certain one. As they go closer to the sun more gasses collect to them making them look like quote "a dirty snowball" :D

  3. I learned that Hally's Comet comes around evry 76 1/2 years! Hyakutake's comet comes evry 76 thousand years!

  4. I learned that Halleys comet is a dirty snowball!The comets or dirty snowballls are very interesting. I can't wait to go to the challenger.

  5. At the beginning of the video,I thought a comet was a shooting star; at the end I learned that it was made of ice,sand,and Carbon Compound.It is also known as "Dirty Snow".

  6. I learned that comets are made out of ice, dirt, and sand. I also learned that it has an orbit. I also learned that they have names and you can only see them once in their orbit so it is very rare that you see them.

  7. I learned that Greek astronomers used to think the *GODS* made the comets appear. Also, Haley's comet comes about every 76 years and Hyakutake's comet comes every 76,000 years. People could have called comets "dirty snowballs" because they were made of ice, sand, and, carbon compound

  8. I learned that comets have their own orbit. They get pulled to the sun and it shoots it to another place.
